The Pleasant Point Holiday Cottage and Lodges are a family ran business. Your hosts, Lorraine and Richard Comfort have been in the hospitality business for almost 2 decades now, having previously ran hotels and busy restaurants in the city of Inverness. Pleasant Point Cottage, Geraldine Lodge and 'Temuka Lodge form the Pleasant Point Holiday Cottages, with their names being inspired by Lorraine and Richard's time they spent working and travelling in/around New Zealand. Interesting fact! Richard proposed to Lorraine on the top of glacier in New Zealand. Lorraine is originally from Tain, Scotland's oldest royal burgh located in Ross-Shire. Richard is a born and bred Black Isler. Together they have three children and they all live and work on the Black Isle. They live on-site in Pleasant Point House, which forms part of the Pleasant Point Holiday cottages. Lorraine and Richard are well known within the local community and have great knowledge of places to visit in the Highlands. Pleasant Point Cottage: A more spacious one-bedroom (1 x king-sized bed and 1 x single bed_ cottage with a separate living area (1 x sofa bed), ideal for families or small groups looking for extra space and a comfortable base to explore the surrounding countryside and coastline.
