Plum at Henley is a characterful one bedroom cottage on two floors, nestled at the end of the Lickfold valley in Henley, West Sussex and just seven miles from the town of Haslemere in Surrey.

Property info

57 miles south west of Hyde Park Corner is the turning to Plum at Henley. The hamlet of Henley (not to be confused with Henley-on-Thames) hides away between the Cowdray and Leconfield Estates in the Sussex countryside, and has so many listed buildings that it has remained mostly untouched. Our local pub, The Duke of Cumberland Arms, is a one minute walk from the cottage. With indoor and outdoor log fires, a trout pond and their gorgeous restaurant, Simon Goodman the owner and chef will be waiting to cook for you.

Step out of the door at Plum House and you’ll find a network of connecting footpaths crossing the Cowdray and Leconfield Estates giving you the freedom to explore the local countryside. Just a two-minute stroll from Plum Cottage, you’ll find the Duke of Cumberland Arms. With its own trout pond, award-winning restaurant, pub garden and lounge bar with scrubbed pine tables, the Duke of Cumberland is a quintessentially characterful country pub with a stunning menu.
