Poplar Farm is a 17th Century Somerset Longhouse where we keep Zwartble Sheep,and poultry.We have 3 guest bedrooms in the main house and a Chalet style cabin that can sleep two people this is situated adjacent to the farmhouse.The house was totally renovated 20 years ago .We also have a self catering stone built barn which is ground floor accommodation suitable for 2 adults,there is room for a cot. Limited cooking facilities.
We are ideally situated for guests to explore the lovely county of Somerset,be it Wells our smallest city or lovely Bath with all its historic buildings. Wedmore is 2 miles away it has good food establishments and exclusive ladies dress shops. Cheddar Gorge and Glastonbury are only a short distance away. For anyone wishing to play a game of golf,Wedmore Golf Club is only a very short drive.There is excellent walking on the Somerset Levels and The Mendip Hills.
