I have tried really hard to make Poppy’s cottage feel like you are “home” as quickly as possible. If I do meet the guests, usually on a walk, I always ask if they can think of anything that would improve the cottage. Time is very precious and I think I have done everything I can to make guests enjoy every moment, we have lots of returning guests and a very happy guest book! This cottage is homely, private, very safe and wildlife is all around. However easy to access shops, restaurants and Devon’s attractions. Lots of walk and set in stunning grounds which are open to the National Garden Scheme, they are stunning.
We love being in the woods, the gardens, fields and forest. However we also like food and love suggesting places that are not far away for a family meal or special treat. Beaches, moors, and river walks, Devon has so much to explore. However I am married to a train loving man and Crediton station has free parking and trains that take you into Dartmoor and to the coast.
