Princess Elizabeth Cottage is a charming and carefully restored, 2-bedroom cottage that sleeps 4 guests in 1 king size double room and 1 twin room, with 1 family bathroom. The cottage is a semi-detached (alongside Lady Jane Grey), two storey property with a fully-equipped modern kitchen and a spacious living and dining area that leads out to a private courtyard with seating. Upstairs are two comfortable and well-appointed bedrooms and a modern bathroom with a fixed shower over a bathtub. Princess Elizabeth cottage was originally part of a paper mill, which was restored to make two cottages (Lady Jane Grey and Princess Elizabeth) and two apartments (St Kenelm and Oliver Cromwell), preserving the original exposed walls and beams throughout. This includes general admission, during the open season, but does not include entry to special events. Winchcombe is an elegant and timeless Cotswold town. Venture down the narrow side streets to find a mix of Cotswold stone cottages and black and white half-timbered buildings. The town is a famous centre for walkers, yet also boasts a number of traditional pubs and delicious cafes, galleries, boutique clothing, interior design and antique shops to browse. During your stay at Sudeley Castle Country Cottages you are entitled to free admission to Sudeley Castle and Gardens during the Castle’s open season (except for separately ticketed events).
