Company info

The farm is managed by the Sawday family, who came to the farm in 1959. Back then the main enterprises were the crops, dairy herd and Apuldram Roses which use to occupy Rose Cottage and the garden. Since then a lot has changed with the 2nd generation of the family converting the beautiful flint barns into what is now Quay Quarters. Unfortunately, the dairy herd is gone but in its place, we have transformed the front of the manor house into luxury B&B (Apuldram Manor). It doesn't stop there though, the 3rd generation are now a vital part in the day to day management of both the farm and the cottages. So, you could certainly say that its a family business.

Property info

Quay Quarters consists of six beautifully presented luxurious cottages on Apuldram Manor Farm, located on the edge of Chichester Harbour (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), just two miles south west of the historic city of Chichester. The cottages sleep between 2 & 6 people and are perfectly situated for sailors, walkers and cyclists & give you direct access to scenic paths to explore Chichester, Dell Quay & surrounding areas. There are lots of local attractions in close proximity to our cottages which are all easily accessible by bus or car. If you however, fancy a day staying on site then perhaps a walk to Chichester Marina is on the cards? If so then you will walk by the countless beauty spots around the farm which either overlook the water or over our conservation plots of wild flowers. There are also many spectacular views towards the South Downs National Park and Chichester Cathedral.

Neighborhood info

Set within an area of outstanding natural beauty we are surrounded by picturesque walks and cycle routes. The farm is just two miles south of Chichester and all of its amenities, with lots of restaurants, cafe's shops and bars. Chichester is also home to the renowned Festival Theatre, the beautiful Bishop’s Palace Gardens and Chichester Cathedral. The Witterings are only a short drive away with West Witterings famous blue flag beach. Goodwood, with its historic house, golf course, small airfield, motor circuit and racecourse with well attended horse racing meetings, is also only a very short drive away. Our local pub (The Crown & Anchor Inn @ Dell Quay) is just a short walk away where you can spend the evening watching the sunset over the estuary!
