Rainors farm cottage is a converted cart shed. It covers 3 floors and takes in beautiful Cumbrian countryside. It's based on a working sheep farm on the western side of the lake district. Ideally based for the amazing Wasdale valley and only a 15 min drive from the base of Scawfell pike. Great base for exploring the western lakes.
I'm a hard working single mum. Myself and my two children run Rainors Farm. We have a mixture of sheep breeds, predominantly texel x and Welsh badgers. We are a hard working family looking to welcome you to our home.
Rainors farm is situated on the outskirts of the village of Gosforth on the road to Wasdale. If your looking to recharge your batteries or explore the amazing area, we are surrounded by amazing country side. With walks straight from the door or a short drive away. 15 mins from the valley of Wasdale, 30 mins from Ennerdale or and hour from Buttermere /keswick. The village of Gosforth has some amazing pubs /restaurants, the kellbank, lion and lamb, Gosforth Hall, wild olive just to name a few
