It is just a 5-minute walk from Windermere train station, and the bus stop for traveling through the Lake District is right outside the door, making it very convenient to get around.

About Us Rayrigg Villa Windermere (Room only )is a beautiful villa located in the center of Windermere village, overlooking Ellerthwaite Square. It is just a 5-minute walk from Windermere train station, and the bus stop for traveling through the Lake District is right outside the door, making it very convenient to get around. The house was built in 1873 as the residence of a prosperous corn merchant, and although it has been renovated, it has not lost its original grandeur. Rayrigg Villa has 9 guest rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, TVs, free Wi-Fi, hairdryers, welcome trays, and bathroom amenities. There is also a fully equipped kitchen available for guests to use. Rayrigg Villa is a graded detached Victorian property, located in the heart of Windermere village, with shops, restaurants, and pubs all within a 2-minute walk. Overlooks Ellerthwaite Square and the azalea and rhododendron bushes of Library Gardens. One mile along New Road is the bustling village of Bowness and the bay where a variety of motorboats and steamers sail on England's largest lake, Lake Windermere. Beatrix Potter's World, the Windermere Steamboat Museum, and many other attractions are all within easy reach, and there are many footpaths in the area leading to picnic spots and viewpoints.
