The house is made up of 3 floors, and has 3 bedrooms, a large dining room, cosy living room, and a breakfast room next to the smaller but well-equipped kitchen. Given the wonderful location on the market place, the house is amazingly quiet and spacious inside. NB: the steps up to the top floor are steep. Lavenham is accessible by train and bus, and there’s much to do and see in and around the village without a car. Market towns Bury St Edmunds and Sudbury with their museums and galleries are within easy bus reach, also Long Melford, Cavendish and Clare. With a car, you can explore more lovely villages such as Kersey, drive to the Stour Valley Path for a walk, visit Constable Country, or spend a seaside day at Southwold, Aldeb...
