Relaxing Riverside Retreat is a lovely apartment that offers guests an alternative to a hotel stay with a comfortable, cosy lounge with a smart tv, two sofas, a small dining table with chairs and coffee table. The bedroom has a double bed with bedside units and a good sized wardrobe. The bathroom has a walk in shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, kettle, microwave, washing machine and a dryer and a unit for eating or drinking morning coffee, although I’d recommend taking coffee outside on to the seating on Wye Street where you can take in the calming view and chat to passers by; a super start to the day.
My name is Ritchie and I’m always contactable to help guests with their stay. I don’t live on site, but the housekeeper lives 1 minute away and is always able to help out if required. I grew up in Ross on Wye but moved away to follow my career as a teacher of English and PE eventually becoming a Headteacher. It is my intention to retire to Ross on Wye one day and to live in the property as it is such a haven of calm and peace.
Relaxing Riverside Retreat offers guests a wonderful base to explore the natural beauty of the Wye Valley with many lovely walks and historical places of interest on the doorstep. It attracts paddle boarders and canoeists owing to its location with access to the river only a few minutes’ walk from the door. Those who enjoying fishing also enjoy the property’s location close to the riverbank. For those wishing to relax and unwind the location is peaceful and just outside the property are benches to look out over the river’s Horseshoe Bend and generally watch the world go by on the peaceful, relaxing Wye Street. There are some fabulous pubs and restaurants literally only minutes away with the centre of the historic market town only a 5 minute walk. A super location with much to offer whatever you are looking for.
