Tower pod is a comfortable camping unit with basic facilities set in a pretty field surrounded by beautiful countryside and an abundance of wildlife. Visitors have enjoyed a wide variety of birdlife and native woodland animals. Dogs are welcome, as well as footpaths for great walks there is a dog paddock onsite for daily excersise.
There are a number of footpaths from the site to enjoy the local area including Nine springs country park but if cycling is your thing then we are on a national cycle route and close to Dorset border where there is plenty of village routes to explore. we are next to the station where there is a steam museum but also a main line where the train into Sherborne is one stop and worth a day out. Ham Hill is a ANOB which has good visitor facilities and great views, can be reached by car in about 15mins.
