Rhubarb Cottage is located in the Cornish Countryside. The location is perfect to reach all of Cornwall, 10 minute drive to seaside with ample restaurants, bars & cafes etc... The house is quiet with breathtaking views from your room. I provide a delicious breakfast with ample choices. I also cater for V, VT, GF & kETO
I worked as a Hotel & Restaurant Inspector for the AA for some years; I think I can say I picked up a few tips along the way. I absolutely loved the job but particularly embraced and related to the hospitality and service aspect of the business. It’s not rocket science, you just have to make the guest staying with you feel valued and cared for!
The Cottage is set in a very quiet and tranquil setting, very few cars pass the property. The only sounds are from the birds and the odd cow moo! The views are really special, guests are always overwhelmed when they arrive and first see the depth of the landscape. Great location to visit and explore all of Cornwall, bang in the middle of Cornwall. The property is set in rolling hills, however only 10 mins away from the busy harbourside of Porthleven which offers award winning restaurants, bars and sweet cafeterias, plus lots of individual interesting shops. The lane to the cottage is a bit bumpy but if driven sensibly its no problem. If you drive a very low bearing sports car maybe its not for you.
