Rhubarb Loft is our second apartment in this old Lord Mayors House from a hundred years ago. This one is a Penthouse, with views to two sides. We believe we have furnished it to be warm and comfortable but with a modern twist. There is a full kitchen with everything you need to cook a lovely meal, a big tub to enjoy a soak and a big shower to wash away your cares whenever you want. Two WC's prevent queues for the facilities especially when there are four of you. Beds can be configured as you would like. Two super king doubles, one super king and two singles or four singles. The usual set up is one bedroom with super king double and one bedroom with two singles. All we ask is if you want something different please ask when booking or at least 72 hours before. If you are staying in, we have a flat screen smart tv so you can keep up with your favourite shows, we have a designated work area with desk, chair, lamp and smartphone chargers, including views of the neighbourhood. We also have a chill out area which our guests have used as a Yoga area such is the relaxing space. Our reviews are few currently, but they have all been good ones, and as we become more established we aim to maintain the standards, both you and we expect!

We have been fortunate enough to have travelled the World and stayed in some wonderful places. We have also stayed in some not so wonderful places! When we looked at opening Rhubarb Loft, we wanted visitors to feel as if they were enjoying a little bit of us. Not too much, but enough to understand what we are about. The best places we have stayed have always left us feeling that it was worth leaving our own home for, and we weren't missing things we had left behind. We are always trying to improve our offering at all our properties, and will not rest on our laurels, so if you come back to us you will see different things happening along the way. Rhubarb Loft is a Penthouse in a very leafy area of Central Wakefield, though you wouldn't believe it once you are inside. To be within walking distance of bars, restaurants, shops, bus routes and trains to North and South, East and West you wouldn't believe how quiet it is. This is one of the most sought after residential areas of Wakefield. Our guests come from all areas of the World, including USA and South Africa, Portugal and Spain. We have a lot of UK visitors for work and play. With lots to do in Wakefield and Yorkshire, we are central to it all. Locally we have the Hepworth Gallery which is worth a visit, sat beside the river and canal there are cafes and bars around here for a lunch or early dinner. Wakefield is the home of the Wakefield Wildcats and you wouldn't be the first to stay over before and after a game. Take in the game and also culture of a different kind in the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. This is a magnificent outdoor sculpture park set in acres of lovely walks around parkland, lakes, weirs and some of the best restaurants and cafes around. A favourite of ours at any time of year. We are so close to Leeds, Bronte Country, York, Peak District, even the East Coast. Very Central we easy on street parking. If you need to know more, just ask!
