This is a homestay near the World Heritage village of Saltaire on the outskirts of Bradford. Situated 30 seconds from the River Aire and 3 minutes from the Leeds to Liverpool Canal and only 5 minutes from Hirst Woods. Great for beautiful dingly dell path walks next to the river. 17 minutes walk at the side of the canal to the UNESCO award winning quaint Saltaire village, where there is a train station, lots of cafes and micro pub/bars as well as Roberts Park which hosts lots of festivals in the spring and summertime. Here Salts Mill has an art gallery, restaurants and shops on many floors, a beautiful church and rows of interesting Mill worker's terraced houses, row after row, surrounding the mill a whole village built by the Mill owner Sir Titus Salt. All bounded by the River Aire and canal, where there are beautiful walks amongst leafy canopy. An interesting place to visit. Saltaire train station is only 17 minutes walk from the house which serves Bradford a 15 minute journey on the train and the same 15 minute journey for Leeds.
