River View is set over two floors and is very well equipped and as its name suggests, has views over the River Nith. Although there is no private patio space, the property is located within the Dock Park so there is lots of outside space for you to enjoy. If you want to take advantage of the many activities in and round the town without moving your car, the park is open all year round with a large enclosed play park as well as mini golf, trampolines, a seasonal café and beautiful walks along the side of the river. Only a short walk into the centre of the town of Dumfries, you will find many high street stores as well as museums, arts centres and Robert Burns House, where the famous Scottish poet, Rabbie Burns, spent the last few years of his life.
