Seeing that smile when people say goodbye and them thanking you for their stay is what makes this such a special profession. It almost beats a wind free, blue skied, powder Ski day in the Cairngorms...🙂

Hi, I am Jason, the fortunate one to own, live on site and run Riverbank Guesthouse on a room only basis. I have just finished a refurb and refresh of the entire Guesthouse, after moving in just before Xmas 2022. - For parties booking 3 or more rooms I can arrange breakfast, but for smaller groups I don't offer Breakfast, although I do provide a complimentary snack tray in your room. Please note that this is now a SELF CHECK IN PROPERTY, as I have extended our check in times from 15.00 to 20.00. Feel free to get in touch in advance should a later check in be required. I am also available to offer guided local walks (Mountain Leader trained), pick-up and drop offs at our local Airport, assistance with watersports and portage of equipment/luggage. Contact for details and costs. There is Tea & Coffee facilities in the room. Riverbanks aim is to ensure your comfort, at a fair price. All rooms are En-suite, clean & comfortable. My mobile is on your information sheet in case you require anything during your stay. Neighborhood info

Situated in a quiet residential area close to the city centre. Turn right out the door and you're 1 minutes walk to the river path and 3 more to the Footbridge over the River Ness and all the City centre has to offer. You can choose from a myriad of shoping, food, entertainment and leisure options. Happy to share my experience and advise if that would help. Parking is restricted on the street outside, as this is a City Centre location and you may only park from 18.00 to 08.00 for free. If you are staying for more than 2 nights, get in touch and I can arrange special parking passes. However if you go past Riverbank and turn 1st left on Lochalsh Road, you may park there for free. Inverness is right at the centre of the highlands and the gateway to some of the most beautiful landscapes, castles, beaches and wilderness experiences. Just ask and I'd be delighted to help craft some ideas for you.
