We are in a very quiet small community with little or no crime, the nearest shop is 6 miles and the nearest restaurant and bar 2 miles. Inveraray is a 15 minute drive and has various shops, bars .cafes and restaurants. The house sits on the banks of the river Cladich which is one of the major feeder rivers for Loch Awe, the longest fresh water loch in Scotland. A boat and or fishing tackle can be hired from Loch Awe boats which is 2 miles down the single track road that fronts the house. Ben Cruachan mountain is visible from the house and the entire surrounding area is popular with hill walkers and climbers.
