The property enjoying stunning views across the River Torridge from the garden is also just a short level walk along the river to one side, and Bideford’s Victoria Park on the other (some 400 yards away). The path leads through the park (home to Burton Art Gallery and Museum and the Café du Parc) and on to the pretty port town of Bideford, with its pastel-coloured houses alongside a tree-lined quay. The park and its play areas are great for the young (and young at heart) with numerous playing fields, & a dedicated area for dogs, a small pool plus a skateboard park next to Bideford Town Football Club nearby.
