River View was built in 1810. We bought the property in April 2018 she was looking a bit tired. We have re carpeted and decorated all the rooms and are in the process of replacing the current bathrooms and modernising. We have done all the work ourselves and have put a lot of love and thought into making our rooms as warm and relaxing for our guests as we could. We would like to stay in our rooms and hope our guests feel the same.
We are a family of four and everyone chips in. The oldest sets the dining room and the smallest "helps" with beds. We love living in Inverness especially next to the river. We love eating out so please ask us the best places or let us know if you need us to book you somewhere.
We are on the River so you can not leave Inverness without a walk along the islands. Quick walk up to the castle or right outside is an open top bus stop which is great for hoping on and off around the city.
