Rockstone Cottage is a lovely old cottage dating from 1790 and reputed to be one of the oldest houses in Colwell Bay that housed officers during the napoleonic times. We have six beautifully decorated and furnished rooms all of which have private shower rooms, comfortable beds, digital TV's and space to relax.

Tucked away in the gorgeous Colwell Bay on the Isle of Wight, Rockstone Cottage is your perfect escape by the sea. Just a hop, skip, and a jump from the Wightlink ferry terminal at Yarmouth (only two miles away), you can be here in no time, leaving the hustle and bustle behind. We’re a mere 4-minute stroll from Colwell Bay’s sandy beach and the coastal path – ideal for walkers, beach lovers, and sunset chasers. Fancy a bite to eat? You’ll find plenty of cracking restaurants such as The Hut and The Waterfront, and local pubs like The Red Lion all within walking distance. Plus, there’s a bus stop at the end of the road (Number 7 route) if you fancy exploring further afield. You can also witness the best views of the round the island sailing regatta which is one of many sailing events that take place throughout the year. Our 18th-century cottage is adults-only, so you can count on a relaxed vibe. Each of our six en-suite rooms is packed with character and comes with free superfast Wi-Fi.
