Saorsa house is situated in the conservation village of Culross and is a newly built bespoke property, which has 3 ensuite rooms and an area for a delicious breakfast. All rooms are individually designed and equipped with TV, hair dryer, free wifi, tea and coffee facilities and we also welcome dogs to stay for a small fee. Car parking facilities and a small patio area.
We are situated at the Eastern end of Culross and if you use SatNav we advise you not to use our postcode or Culross as a general reference as this will lead you through the cobbled streets and narrow lanes of old Culross. Instead, from the A985 follow the signs for High Valleyfield - use 1 Main Street Low Valleyfield as a reference as this is across the road from us.
Our aim is to make people feel relaxed and comfortable and we are very welcoming and will try and make your stay very enjoyable. I also cater for people who have food intolerances,allergies and special dietary requirements.
We will try and inform people of local interests, places to see and historical interests.
Culross centre is like the forgotten village, it is a conservation village and is often used in period dramas such as Outlander. There is a local pub that has a great reputation for food and we are in close proximity to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling and Perth. We also have the advantage of being at the start of the Fife coastal path and the Pilgrims Way and you are near the Ochil hills and the Trossachs, but if you prefer seaside and small fishing villages you can visit the East Neuk and St. Andrews
