If you're sick of the hustle and bustle, and peace and tranquillity is what you are looking for, then our beautiful holiday home 'Serenity' has it all. Suited to those that like to nestle in the peaceful surroundings of nature, laze on the decking and watch the wildlife go by or those that want to explore the SW coast of Cornwall but don't want the maddening crowds of the larger caravan parks. We are the opposite of the busier family sites and have very few amenities at River Valley, however we are perfectly placed so that you can still access all these other activities and amenities very close by. Our property backs onto the small but beautiful River Hayle, one well behaved dog is welcome. Although the property is privately owned by us, the staff here at River Valley Country Park are available every day in reception for any queries or advice. On site there is a laundry, an enclosed dog walking field, an EV charging point in the reception car park. and a small community library. So if you're wanting to get away from it all, but still be in the heart of the South Cornwall coastline, Serenity will tick all your boxes. We are ideal for Photographers, Nature lovers, Bird Watchers, wild swimmers, walkers and those who like to tuck up with a good book, and fall asleep at night listening to the Tawny Owls. Tasteful seaside and nature themed decor throughout, and a homely feel.

For us its all about the nature, and love sharing our home with likeminded individuals who can appreciate our fondness of the Cornish landscape and the friendly community. As photographers and keen Birdwatchers, The village of Relubbus is perfectly placed, allowing access to a variety of reserves, parks, gardens and beaches on our doorstep. We are very approachable and happy to answer any questions and try and accommodate most needs where we can. We have tried to provide lots of extras for the rainy days, such as traditional puzzles, games and lots of books. We can be contacted during your stay at any time.

Our guests love the location and the silence, with noise restrictions after 10pm on site. There are so many beaches nearby it would be difficult to name them all, but when you check in, you can peruse the guest Welcome Folder for further information. There is a bistro and several pubs within a five minute drive. Marazion located opposite the iconic St Michael's Mount is only a 10-15 minute drive. If surfing is your thing, Gwithian beach is only a 20 minute drive away. St Erth train station is only a 4 mile drive, where you can start the beautiful 10 minute journey to the stunning town of St Ives, without the hassle of trying to find a car parking space. RSPB reserves, Hayle Estuary and Marazion Marsh are only 10-15 minutes away. Thornes fruit and veg in Longrock is a sight to behold! for high quality products, and there are also many major supermarkets nearby in Penzance. The historic harbours of Mousehole and Newlyn are a short drive from Penzance. Boat trips are available from Penzance, Newlyn and Mousehole. For the swimmers, Jubilee Pool, the Victorian saltwater lido in Penzance is a must.
