Siramik is situated in the Welsh Carmarthenshire Hills amongst open landschape of fields and rolling hills. We are situated about 2 miles of the mainroad for perfect peace and quiet and a wonderful break from daily life. You will experience the silence and dark sky with no light pollution. The building itself is based on renewable energy with a ground source heat pump for comfortable warmth in your room and solar panels for the nice hot water for the shower. The rooms are in a separate building from our main house for your privacy comfort. There is free WiFi facility in each room. Please be aware that breakfast is NOT included in the price and needs to be requested separately via a message to host when booking your accommodation. This is a continental breakfast that will be brought to your room and there is a table and chairs for you to enjoy this. There is an additional cost for the breakfast per person.
Yoka will be at the property to welcome you and make your stay as comfortable as possible. In the same building as the rooms but separate, we also have a pottery studio with 6 potters wheels as Yoka is a potter as well as a pottery teacher. There is always to opportunity to come and learn a new skill as long as the course is booked in time and there is availability on the day of your choice.
Siramik is about 12 to 15 minutes away from the Skanda Vale Temple. The nearest town of Carmarthen about 6 miles from your accommodation, offers plenty of opportunity for shopping, eating and entertainment. We have also the Gwili Steam Railway nearby, the National Botanical Gardens of Wales, Aberglasney House and Gardens, Dinefwr Park with it's long horned white cattle, to name but a few cultural and entertaining opportunities for guests to this area. We are based in a rural area with lots of peace and quiet and wonderful views of the surroundings.
