Arthur's Cottage is one of 8 holiday cottages set on the 1000 acre estate. It is semi detached (Powillimount Cottage is the other side). The two cottages can be rented together enabling large family gatherings of up to 12 people. The combined cottages are set on their own with stunning views in every direction - the Solway Firth with the Lake District mountains in front of the cottage and to the back lovely mountainess views of Criffel. The cottage is recently renovated and very comfortable, light and spacious with a large living area and 3 en suite bedrooms, a utility room and a small conservatory. There is an enclosed garden for you to enjoy a BBQ and sundowner. Arbigland Estate is an area of outstanding natural beauty, unspoilt and rural set along the coast line of the Solway Firth. Brilliant bird life, lovely beaches, wondrous walks, good golf courses, marvellous mountain biking, gorgeous gardens, lots to see and do for all ages and interests!

A lovely light spacious and very comfortable log chalet set along the Solway Firth in South West Scotland. It is one of three log chalets set together in about half an acre of landscaped ground a minutes walk from the beach and 10 minutes walk along the beach to a good pub. Skylark is the middle of the three chalets with a sea view from the double bedroom and a lovely rural outlook over fields to Criffel (which is nearly a Munro!) Fantastic walks straight from the door, great for twitchers, artists and anyone who wants to escape from the hustle and bustle of normal life. The perfect place to come to switch of and rest but with full fibre Wifi. There are two good sized bedrooms, a family bathroom and a large open plan living area with a woodburning stove.

Skylark Lodge is set just outside Carsethorn on the edge of the Solway Firth in a glorious and unspoilt region of South West Scotland - Dumfries and Galloway - the hidden gem.
