Tucked away on a working croft on the beautiful Black Isle, just above Inverness in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, this small, cosy bothy offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by forest, open fields, and big Highland skies — with beautiful views stretching across the Cromarty Firth. Perfect for couples or solo travellers, the bothy blends rustic charm with simple modern comforts. Warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully laid out, it’s an ideal base for exploring the Highlands — whether you’re wandering straight from your door onto quiet forest walks, watching the light change over the Cromarty Firth, spotting local wildlife, or heading into Inverness for a day of history, food, and culture. Wake up to birdsong filtering through the trees, enjoy your morning coffee overlooking croft land, woodland, and sweeping coastal views, and unwind in the evening beneath some of Scotland’s clearest starry skies. With forest trails all around and the coast, villages, and scenic drives nearby, you’ll have the perfect balance of seclusion and adventure. If you’re looking for a quiet escape with authentic Highland character — surrounded by nature, enriched by sea views, yet within easy reach of local amenities — this little croft bothy is a truly special place to slow down and reconnect.
