Relax with family and friends at this spacious and peaceful beachfront property with direct access to the beautiful sandy beach at West Wittering, West Sussex. South View is an original West Wittering beach house. It has been in our family since the 1960s and retains the era’s look and feel with many period features. It is a practical holiday home which is very used to the hustle and bustle of large groups of family and friends, particular those with children. Generations of children have grown up holidaying here, so the house is used to a bit of rough and tumble which will occasionally be reflected in scuffs, scrapes and damage, but you will love the warmth and charm that the beach house exudes. Please note: 1. Bedroom 5 (The Map Room) is a through room which people pass through to enter and exit the property. It has a door to one side and a curtain on the other side. It has two single beds which can be covered during the day to form a seating area. Although suitable for use by all, we recommend that this room is best-suited for use by children/teenagers. 2. Bathroom 4 is a wet room with a shower and sink. It is located downstairs and is perfect for showering on return from the beach. 3. The main en-suite bathroom has a shower attachment in the bath, but is not a stand up shower. The other bathrooms do not have showers.

We are so pleased to be able to share South View with others. We have been hosting in the local area with two other beach properties for more than 5 years and we love receiving feedback on how to improve for our guests.

South View is on a quiet, private road so is free from passing traffic. The most noise you will likely hear is from the horses in the field opposite and the waves of the sea. You will discover fantastic walks along the beach in both directions, including around East Head, a National Trust nature reserve. There’s also a great pub (The Wittering) within walking distance and numerous shops and eateries in nearby East Wittering.
