We are a family run business running five luxury Shepherd Huts on site Our adventure began with the animals starting with Hebriadean Sheep and we had some lambs who are grown up now, they roam free around and you may spot them laying at the fence on a morning. We now have sheep they manage our paddocks as well as Casper the large Grey horse, a little Shetland pony Candy Floss, also several Hens who may lay you some eggs to collect from our egg hut, for a delicious breakfast or lunch. Not to forget our Alpacas nine girls and love the attention. We offer guests to come and meet them as an extra cost! We do offer those added extras to get up close to our alpacas more details can be found when a booking has been made with us as its subject to availability for a small fee to cover our time and food cost. We offer many added extras available to make your stay more memorable and special we can help, from a log package, marshmallows & hot chocolate, birthday package, celebration package, early check in and late checkout we have it all available for an additional cost. You can even meet out alpacas which you can come and feed with us at an additional cost We do not live on the site but are frequently around caring for our animals and walking our four dogs. We are happy to help with any enquires or to just say 'Hello'

We offer unique, special and nothing like you would find in York in our luxury shepherd huts. Everything about them has been designed to provide the best in comfort inside & traditional looks outside, an adult only site to give you the best glamping experience possible. As you walk through the main door you reach a fully equipped, fitted kitchen area with two induction hobs, a microwave/oven, fridge with a small freezer, toaster, kettle, country style sink and all the cutlery, pots and pans you should ever need. There's two breakfast bar stools to enjoy your breakfast or even sit by the log burner. To the right is a king size bed, with Egyptian cotton linen, duvet & pillows, there's also a smart TV on a swivel mount so you can view it from all around the hut. At the end of the bed is a cosy sofa facing the cast iron log burner (logs supplied separately an additional cost) but don't worry you'll never be cold as there's also underfloor heating throughout the whole hut to keep you warm. Looking to the left from the main door is a fully equipped bathroom with a shower cubicle and a mains shower, sink, toilet, heated towel rail & amazingly soft towels & complementary toiletries on arrival. Storage hasn't been forgotten, with under the bed storage and a wardrobe space to hang your own belongings. Each hut has WIFI being in a rural area can be intermittent

Escrick is the nearest small village 1.2 miles a 20 minute walk. There is a hotel which offers food and a gin bar and a gastro pub. Within the village is a Thai restuarant which offers takeaways and a traditional country pub. A small supermarket within the BP garage offering a Subway, Costa Express and frozen ready 'Cook' meals. Deighton is a small village 1.2 miles a 20 minute offering a country pub and Fish and Chips takeaway nearby. Several country public footpaths and cycle routes around
