St Giles Lodge is a beautiful Category C listed building in an excellent situation on the banks of River Ness just upstream of the Inverness City Centre and Inverness Castle. The three storey house is a late Victorian stone built property tastefully renovated whilst still retaining lots of the original features. The owners are currently providing bed and breakfast accommodation in a first floor en-suite bedroom and a second floor family suite with a king size and double bed making it suitable for a family of three or 2 singles. The Family Suite has its own private bathroom. Note Stairs are necessary to access both rooms.
St Giles Lodge provides easy access to the City Centre on foot with less than a kilometre's walk to the train station. The entertainment venues of Eden Court and the Northern Meeting Park are just across the River Ness with pedestrian access usually available across the Infirmary bridge. whilst a path through the Ness Islands provides easy access to the Bught Park and the Inverness Leisure centre with Aquadome swimming pool and gym. There are many highly rated restaurants and bars within a ten minute walk from the property ensuring guests are well catered for. Best to book to avoid disappointment because they are so popular. Inverness Castle has recently been upgraded and with a visit to Inverness Museum provides some great history of Inverness and vistas over the local area.
