Stable Cottage is situated in a secluded, peaceful location within its own 4 acre private woodland just outside the picturesque village of Garve on the North 500 Route. An ideal spot to escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life with beautiful walks and cycling routes right on the doorstep. The Cottage was once used as the horse stables that served the local estate. It has been tastefully renovated to ensure that guests enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay. We take the utmost care to ensure that we provide our guests with a comfortable nights sleep. Our mattresses are certified organic wool and cotton and our duvets and pillows are 100% British wool. No polyesters or microfibres are used.

We are available to personally greet you and help you settle in. We live in another cottage just around the corner with our two dogs and guinea pigs.

Garve is a perfect location to explore the beautiful surroundings of Highland Scotland. Mountains, rivers and lochs abound, affording breathtaking views and exciting outdoor activities wherever you choose to go. The Victorian Spa village of Strathpeffer and the old market town of Dingwall are just a few miles away. Situated half way between Inverness and Ullapool on the North 500 Route, Garve is well serviced by both train and bus. The world famous Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh (which takes you to the Isle of Skye) railway route has a stop in Garve. The cottage is located just a 10 minute walk from the train station.
