It is in fact striking how close everything in Inverness is to the property. There are fabulous restaurants and cafés only a few minutes’ walk away and there’s a brilliant waterside pub offering great bar meals a stone’s throw from the house. Not only is it an outstanding base for a city break in this charming, historic little city, Stanford House is an excellent option for those wanting to explore the Highlands.
