Situated on Plunkie Farm, in the beautiful village of Star. The one bedroom one shower room and open lounge kitchen with breath-taking views of the Lomond Hills.

The Downie's have farmed at Plunkie for over 100 years, offering DIY Livery, cattle and sheep.

Located on the village outskirts with near by town of Markinch for all local amenities and train station. we are situated on a cycle route Uphill, downhill and maybe some sprints, but don't forget to enjoy the landscape near Lomond Hills. This route is paved and suitable for a race bike. Explore hotel Balbirnie House Hotel and its surroundings with this cycling route. Admire the awe-inspiring sights along this route, including Star. If you fancy a great cycling ride, this tour is certainly for you. Golf course's every where you turn, Balbirnie, Ladybank, Thornton and many more. St Andrews is only a 25minute drive away to the best course in the world ! Falkland Palace is a must for a visit, along with exploring the beautiful town of Falkland with fantastic independent shops, tearoom, pubs and restaurants. The Pilgrims Walk is a stone throw from the property for you to rest your legs.
