Starboard Light is a charming traditional cottage on Captain’s Row — one of the loveliest and most historic streets in Lymington. With beautiful views over the river and just steps from the excellent Kings Head pub (famed for its great food), it offers an unbeatable location. The cobbled lanes with boutique shops and independent restaurants lead you down to the town quay, all right on your doorstep. The cottage comfortably accommodates two guests, which we feel is ideal. However, by request, it can sleep up to four with advanced notice so that we can open up the access: there is a mezzanine sleeping area above the main bedroom this does require requires dexterity and care as is accessed by a ladder, so it will not be suitable for everyone (Extra person fee required when available - PLEASE ENQUIRE BEFORE BOOKING) This is a traditional fisherman’s cottage, lovingly and tastefully refurbished. It’s a real gem — cosy, characterful, and right in the heart of Lymington’s old town and quay area. Starboard Light is perfect for couples looking for a peaceful bolt-hole from which to explore Lymington and the New Forest. Properties with river views are extremely rare in the town, and you can watch the boats coming and going right from the bedroom window. The cottage is clean, private, and pet-friendly, but please be aware there is no outdoor space, so guests will need to take their dogs out for walks.

Starboard Light sits in the heart of the yachting town of Lymington, in the New Forest. It is wonderfully positioned on Captain’s Row, at the top of the historic cobbles and beside the much-loved Kings Head pub, which dates back over 300 years.
