Modern Cottage in a pretty village on the edge of the Cotswolds. Close to Silverstone Circuit, Bicester Village, Oxford, Blenheim Palace, Chipping Norton, Stratford-upon-Avon. Also very close to local attractions Soho Farmhouse, RH Ayhoe Park, Daylesford, Diddly Squat Farm and Estelle Manor. Private off-road parking, lots of local shops, pubs and takeaways in the village with a patio and lovely garden view. Within easy walking distance from the village centre, shops and church. Recently fully refurbished to a contemporary but homely style for a convenient away from home stay (short or slightly longer). Kitchen, living room, separate bathroom with shower and large upstairs double-bed bedroom with a garden view. Stonefield (main house) and Stonefield Cottage is built in the distinctive local orange Cotswold Horton 'ironstone'. Happy to chat about any particular interests or needs.
Our family has lived in this village for over 20 years - in the main house - Stonefield. Four of the family still lives in the main house - along with our very friendly dog and cat. Stonefield Cottage had been occupied on a long-term lease for over 15 years, but is now fully refurbished and open for short-medium term lets and visits.
As above there is lots to see and do around the area with a good network of roads and public transport. We have a book case in Stonefield Cottage full of leaflets on the local attractions.
