The lodge is a spacious detached house with large gardens and has 3 Bedroom ( Beds 2 & 3 singles or doubles ) two public rooms (lounge and TV snug) a large dining kitchen and two bathrooms and is located in Argyll one of Scotlands most picturesque areas. .The original front part of the Lodge is over 300 years old. Internally all walls have timber lining which gives the place a really comforting feel. In addition to great log burner in the lounge we have quality beds and bedding, underfloor heating ,hot strong power showers and the whole property has quality fixtures and furnishings throughout with some eclectic art .Stylistically its a combination of Scottish Highland and New England with comfort and relaxation the main theme. For 2021 we have added a mini Spa facility at lower garden level which has a genuine Finnish sauna ,with chromotherapy ,changing area and shower ,outer quiet/relaxation room with loungers and outside a 6 pers high spec jacuzzi ,hot shower ,patio area with mood lighting all with views to nature ...a perfect place to relax after a days activity!

I have lived in the Alps for many years and am a keen runner ,climber and skier and use the lodge as a base to explore Scotlands amazing west coast from. One of my passions is interior design and I have tried very hard with the lodge to create a comforting place to really relax and immerse oneself in the tranquility of the Argyll countryside. I seek quality in all things I do and the general standard and presentation of the lodge reflects this philosophy.

Strathlachlan is a tiny hamlet in rural Argyll that has only 8 cottages and nestles in a sunny valley amongst hills and forest with views out over wonderful scenery in all directions . We are located off the B8000 which is a purely scenic single track route which has a few cars passing during the day and virtually none in the evenings and at night ...accordingly its a very tranquil relaxing environment with birdsong usually the main sound .
