Grove Mews is an award-winning, architect-designed cottage with a genuine beach house feel — light-filled, beautifully detailed, and right in the heart of Bembridge village. Five minutes on foot takes you to the beach. The double-height living room, gallery-quality artwork, and considered design make it feel far larger and more special than the footprint suggests. Whether you're here to explore the island or simply do very little, it's a genuinely lovely base. 150 Mbps broadband in the house. ou will also find in the cupboards a picnic backpack with blanket which you can take to the beach - please wash cutlery and glasses etc and return after use. There are striped beach towels if you have not brought your own. OUTSIDE Small paved patio front garden, with bench, table and chairs. Outside tap and shower attachment for washing sand off shoes and swimming costumes, a basin in the utility for this. Also cushions for outdoor seats. A waste and recycling bin. Put your waste here and it is emptied by Biffa. Guest access Grove Mews is self-contained with it’s own entrance and front patio garden. You will have exclusive use of this bijou place. Other things to note; Due to the size and limited floor space, Grove Mews is not suitable for wheelchairs unfortunately. Provided are dishwashing liquid and body wash from The Sea Room, an lovely eco, zero waste shop around the corner. We refill the containers to cut down on single use plastic. Grove Mews is run on sustainable choices as far as possible. The building is super insulated to keep warm in winter, and cool in the summer, and is well sound proofed.

NEIGHBOURHOOD HIGHLIGHTS Bembridge village is vibrant year round, full of independent shops. There is a harbour with 2 sailing clubs, coastal path walks and lovely beaches to explore.
