While our friendly team at Laik won't be present physically for your check-in, we operate a seamless self check-in process to give you privacy and convenience. Despite not being on site, we are easily reachable via phone or messages. Whether you have a query or need assistance, we're here to ensure your stay is smooth and enjoyable.

Set just off a private drive, The Annexe, a semi detached property, offers a peaceful feel while remaining incredibly central.You enter through a small porch, perfect for leaving walking boots, coats and outdoor gear, before stepping into a bright, open-plan living space. Living & kitchen area: The open-plan kitchen and lounge is designed for easy, comfortable stays. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, whether you’re preparing breakfast before a day out or a relaxed supper in the evening. It includes: Oven, hob, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine/ drier, kettle, toaster and microwave. Starter essentials such as tea, coffee. The living area is a cosy spot to unwind after a day exploring, with comfortable seating, Wi-Fi and a Smart TV for streaming. The bedroom features a comfortable double bed with feather bedding, built-in wardrobe storage and a dressing table, making it well suited for longer stays as well as short breaks. Bedroom also has it's own TV. The modern bathroom includes a walk-in rainfall shower, WC and basin. Underfloor heating runs throughout the property, keeping the space warm and comfortable year-round. We provide shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, along with one small and one large towel per guest.

Bowness and her nearby neighbour Windermere, have a bustling high street providing plenty of amenities from every day shopping and supermarkets, health centre and a broad variety of shops, high quality restaurants, cafes and other amenities, including a seasonal theatre, cinema, golf club, motorboat and yacht club. Getting around Buses are available in Bowness to all areas of the Lake District. There is a train station in Windermere, 5 minutes drive away for trains to all parts of the country. Taxis are readily available. Guests can also enjoy leisure boat trips along Windermere Lake or hire a motor or rowing boat. Set within the heart of the National Park and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, ever popular Bowness has good access to local road networks and junction 36 can be reached within 20 minutes whilst the rail links from Windermere filtering to the main line at Oxenholme provide speedy access to Edinburgh, Manchester and to London Euston in less than 3 hours.
