We came to this spectacular corner of Scotland through a love of cycling, walking and skiing, and very much want to share some of the experiences that we have had exploring the local lochs, trails and snowy mountain slopes. Set in the heart of the beautiful Cairngorms, our holiday home is the perfect base for exploring the wild places this part of Scotland is renowned for. Offering comfortable, modern accommodation for up to four people, the chalet is roomy, warm and well equipped with everything you will need for a relaxing stay whatever the time of year. The chalet is situated in a tranquil, purpose built holiday park just ten minutes walking distance from the heart of Aviemore town with its railway station, shops, restaurants and bars, whilst the park itself offers a friendly bar and restaurant serving home cooked food. Here is easy access to a wealth of possible activities, from fishing and kayaking on the adjacent River Spey, through walking and cycling along the miles of trails that weave around the lochs and mountains, to steam powered jaunts on the Strathspey railway and more. Bike and kayak hire facilities are to be found within walking distance, as well as a range of activity centres delivering adventure and excitement for both children and adults. During the winter months, the renowned Aviemore ski centre is just a short bus journey away, which makes this the perfect ski season destination.
