Sunflower is a family run B&B. Our goal is to provide quality lodging in a quiet, eco friendly and healthy environment. We are located inside the Findhorn Eco-village community. The house was built in the year 2001, with modern wooden construction. It is non-smoking / non-pets house. It is fully carpeted to maintain a nice temperature year around. Therefore we kindly request you to leave the shoes at the entrance. Sunflower has an independent guest’s entrance, a private roomy lounge area with a very cosy fireplace. There is NO TV in the lounge area and neither in the bedrooms. In the guest’s floor, you will find one single & two twin bright and big bedrooms; and two shared toilets, one of them with a shower. For the twin rooms, we can join the beds if requested. We offer first quality wide variety continental breakfast. We regret to say that the house is not suited for kids. For people coming to attend courses or visit the Findhorn Programs, we are located steps away from the Comunnity Center. For people who want to visit the area, Findhorn village is at stone's throw, 15 minute walk. You may have the best fish & chips with a wonderful view of the river's bay. Gray and brown seals can be seen at the river mouth. All kind of shore birds provide a wonderfull experience. You may walk through woods and dunes to reach the sea: you will have an 8 mile shore walk to explore, in natural state. Locatged between Elgin an Nairn (15 miles), near the town of Forres (5 miles), closest airport is at Inverness (30miles). Train services to Forres are available. Bus services may leave you 300 yards from the B&B
