Sunnyside Cottage was built in 1841 and is one of the oldest buildings in the area. It has a B&B history spreading back since the 1940's. A deceptively large cottage with six en suite rooms, neat but compact, each with its own style of décor. Continually modernized and upgraded to meet the needs of the 21st Century guest, it still retains its warm cottage feel. Free WiFi internet access. An ideal stopping place to visit Balloch Castle, Loch Lomond, the historic City of Glasgow, Stirling, Edinburgh and the Trossachs by road or rail. We are also well placed for those who love to ramble. Why not visit Dumbarton, the ancient capital of the kingdom of Strath-clyde, and Dumbarton castle sited on a 240ft high volcanic plug. We also hire out our well loved Classic 1960's and 1970's VW campervans, Daisy and Bluebell. What better way to see the Scottish Countyside.
