I liked the countryside feeling. I woke up to birds chirping every morning. The lady of the house Julie was incredibly accommodating host. She was warm and helpful, while also giving me plenty of space to relax. She struck the perfect balance...

Julie and Harold made us feel very welcome. Julie greeted us and showed us the room and poured some fresh milk to put in the mini fridge for our teas and coffees. The room was spacious, the bed really comfortable, the shower was great and there...

Our property has always been an open door of hospitality. It gives so much of its self to others where you can feel the warmth of the house as soon as you step over the door step. A pre-16th Century building with walls of horse hair and cob being in the original bit. Many improvements over the years, knits seamlessly, joining rooms, making this a good family home. Laughter, tears and lots of hugs fill the house, with many a story to be told where footsteps have worn groves in the slate floors. Being a Cornish Girl, I have decorated one of our letting rooms in Cornish Tartan and my heart beats every time i open the door. We are in the heart of the countryside, so expect peace and quiet, maybe the occasional Cockerel crowing. We just love meeting people, so opening our home to others, embracing everyone's individual personality and character, we hope to make your stay, what you wish it to be. We never judge anyone's individuality and i love to embrace everyone with open arms. If you want that home from home, motherly, nothing is to much trouble, then we are here for you.
Its all about you! Rest assured, relax, and let Cornwall offer you the best with hospitality here at our home. Nothing is to much trouble to help make your stay more pleasurable and as dogs are a big part of peoples lives they are welcome to. Come soaking wet, we can wash your clothes, come hungry we can feed you, come thirsty we can quench your thirst. Come cold we got the warmth. Want to go to the local pub, dont want to drive, we can give you a lift. We want you to love your stay here with us. Fancy a packed lunch? Are you workmen? Just let us know...honestly we want to make your stay relaxed and comfortable. We only walk this way once so just be blessed here at our family home
Being close to Bodmin Moor we have many opportunities to walk with our dogs. There is always places to visit being really central to most tourist areas. Bude, Crackington Haven, Boscastle, Tintagel, Port Issac, Wadebridge, Newquay, Eden Project, Launceston, and so much more. Great eating places locally. Cornwall really has a lot to offer come rain or shine, just come prepared and learn to stop and look or else you miss that which is certainly underneath your feet and in front of your eyes. Bring your wellies, bring your doggies. Cornwall is totally beautiful any time of the year. The weather can be temperamental, but with it comes such beauty, if you are prepared to embrace this. The local eateries are full of good locally produced products, meaning you never come away hungry or disappointed. Local walks from our front door. You can get to all of Cornwall in approximately 1 n half hours. Devon just over the boarder. So come and visit. Take time out and enjoy all that Cornwall has to offer but bear in mind, it takes a bit more than a couple of days.
