Sylen Barn is a converted stone threshing mill and your en-suite room is the loft which is a separate part of our house. You have a separate entrance hallway with a walled garden with furniture for your use and private parking right outside. It's a lovely suntrap for a morning coffee. From the bedroom there are views out over the stables with trees beyond. You have a kingsize bed and an ensuite with a large shower. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided.
I enjoy growing veg and flowers.
Short drive into the village of Pontyberem well served by a private supermarket with bakery, cashpoint & Post Office. There is a cafe, both a chinese and indian takeaway, and a chippy. From here it's a 20 minute drive to the marina at Burry Port, or the sandy beaches at Pembrey or Llanelli. We're a 10 minute drive from Jct 48 of M4, and about 15 minutes equi-distant from both Llanelli and Carmarthen town centres. The Brecon Beacons, the far West Wales coast, Tenby and Cardigan are an hour away.
