Nestled within the stunning Cairngorms National Park, Aviemore is a jewel in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, offering a perfect blend of outdoor adventures and cozy retreats. If you're seeking a home away from home, look no further than Taigh Munro, a delightful holiday haven that encapsulates the essence of Highland charm. From its tranquil surroundings to its strategic location, Taigh Munro promises a memorable and rejuvenating escape.

We met skiing (about 40 years ago!) and spent lots of time in Aviemore over the years both working, visiting and skiing. The Harrison family has owned Taigh Munro since it was built around 20 years ago. When we first bought the house this area of was Aviemore was brand new. Now it has changed and matured in a great way! There are many local amenities, shops, cafes that have sprung up all within easy walking distance. Taigh Munro’s neighbourhood has also matured with lots of trees and landscaping in the mutual areas of a peaceful cul de sac. Taigh Munro is our holiday home now too! There is so much to explore and do in around Aviemore that, even after all this time, we keep finding new and exciting things to see and do. Whatever you and your family are looking for in a holiday we hope you find Taigh Munro provides a great base for your adventures.

Aviemore and its surrounding areas offer a wealth of family activities, ensuring that every member of the clan can find something to enjoy. Whether you're exploring the great outdoors such as skiing, walking, golf, fishing, encountering wildlife, or riding a steam train through the Highlands, the adventures are as diverse as the landscapes themselves. There are also many local cafes, restaurants and pubs in Aviemore. Enjoy some shopping or a swim in the local leisure facilities.
