Riverside Cottage sits in a wooded glade in East Devon’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our two bed self contained annexe comfortably sleeps five. We are 30 minutes from several beaches & the city of Exeter. We are in a great position for high adrenaline sports activities such as sky diving, super car experiences, banger racing, go-karting and wing walking.
Our interests have changed since acquiring Riverside Cottage in 2021. Expanding the cottage & annexe, growing our own fruit & veg’ along with looking after our animals and woodland.
The Annexe at Riverside Cottage can be found at the end of a winding country lane, shared with deer, foxes, hares & owls. Our nearest beaches, Seaton & Sidmouth, are just 25 minutes away. Beer & Branscombe 30 minutes and 40 minutes to Lyme Regis. Nearby we have Dunkeswell Airfield where you can enjoy ‘wing walking’ or sky diving, Mansell’s Raceway & go-kart hire. There are two WW2 museums in nearby Dunkeswell & Upottery Airfields. Banger racing is a few miles away at Smeatharpe Stadium. If you love to walk, you can step from your garden and join a number of local footpaths. We have award winning pubs just a short drive away.
