The location and accommodation are the definition of peace and quiet. Remote enough that you can disconnect from the hustle and bustle of life, but, also, only a 30 minute drive from a good deal of what Devon and Cornwall have to offer. The...

Cookbury Court was originally the main farmhouse for Dunsland Park. A manor house originally built by the Normans. We now operate dog friendly accommodation (Two stone cottages and luxury apartment) with everything from easy wipe floors to a dog wash, secure exercise field and even a dog and boot drying room. All of our accommodation has it's own private secure dog friendly garden. Walk straight from your door in our woodland and meadows. We also border Forestry Commission woods and National Trust Dunsland - Another 300 acres to explore!
We moved to Devon to set up Puddleduck Valley after spending 10 years trying to find the right location. We love the thrill of making our guest's stay really enjoyable and go all out to exceed our guest's expectations.
We don't just like Devon, we adore it. This is an English county that has it all from fabulous beaches with rock pools, body boarding and surfing, to the mountains of Dartmoor with windswept granite tors and wild ponies too. Devon is regarded as one of Britain's holiday counties and has so much to do.
