A large beautifully light and quiet room with it's own en-suite bathroom. The room is on the third floor of our historic Georgian Town house. You will need to climb 3 flights of stairs to reach your room. The final flight of stairs are a little narrower, however, the reward is that it takes you to your own private floor. PLEASE NOTE: THIS FLIGHT OF STAIRS, WHICH ARE NARROWER AND STEEP ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE WITH MOBILITY ISSUES. Both bedroom and bathroom are tastefully decorated and hung with original artwork. The bedroom has a comfortable standard double bed. The space has been thoughtfully put together to enable guests to both relax and work. The en-suite bathroom has an original, restored, roll top bath. PLEASE NOTE; THERE IS NO SHOWER and the bath shower mixer as shown on the photos is unable to be used for showering or washing hair, due to the hot water pressure, which is unable to reach the top of the house. However, their will be enough hot water for a deep bath. There is a plastic jug in the bathroom for washing hair.

Robert and I have lived in this historic house for 25 years and throughout this time have welcomed guests. I am a painter and ceramicist, working from a studio in the country. Many of the paintings and ceramics in the house are mine. Until recently, Robert run a successful print-works, traditional printing wallpaper and fabric by hand. His task now is to renovate, maintain and decorate the house!
