The Bakery Flat is a newly refurbished apartment in the old bakery building. Kenyons Deli is at the front of the building and sells delicious pasties, pastries and wine. The local pub retains it's charm, often has live bands on and offers great food to eat in or takeaway. The apartment is full of old charm with modern touches. The wood burner makes for cosy evenings on the 6 seater corner sofa and well appointed bedrooms guarantee a good nights sleep. There are 2 bathrooms serving the double bedrooms and the bunks room has it's own toilet and sink next door. The kitchen is fully equipped with dining seating and outside seating for 6. The secure garage has room for 2 cars with is an bonus in this area.
Tony and Deb bought the Bakery Flat in October 2022. It was developed by a local builder who really put care and attention to the refurb and then moved to the village. We have loved getting it ready for guests and thoroughly enjoy our own trips there. We live in Birmingham but have great property managers in the area who are on hand for any assistance needed.
Frogmore village is a thriving, creekside community with a great pub serving food. The Apartment is 3.4 miles drive to Kingsbridge centre, 3.4 miles to Slapton Sands, 12.7 miles to Dartmouth and 9.3 miles to Salcombe. All of these places are also accessible by public bus. Kingsbridge is a lovely market town with numerous pubs and restaurants. Dartmouth and Salcombe are sophisticated seaside towns with great shopping. There are so many lovely beaches within a 20 minute drive, for example, Bigbury, Thurlestone, Hope Cove, Slapton Sands and Blackpool Sands.
