The Barn is a stunning, two-storey barn conversion, situated in the heart of Torcross, just steps from Slapton Sands beach. With two bedrooms, a master double and a twin, the property sleeps four guests. Boasting a light an airy open plan living area, enjoying a modern kitchen and comfortable living space, the renovations have been carried out to an extremely high standard. Perfectly suited to couples, and families, The Barn is the perfect property if you are looking for a high quality coastal retreat. Parking for one car . No Pets Permitted. This property only takes Friday to Friday bookings within the months of July and August. Strictly No Smoking. Strictly 1 car permitted per property in a private garage with nearby public parking available for any additional cars. Due to the constant effort to make Torcross welcoming, continual restorations are carried out in the area to enhance it's beauty. Following the recent storm damage at Torcross, we can confirm that The Barn, 20 At The Beach and the parking have not been affected, and everything is operating as normal (February 2026).

Torcross is at the southern end of Slapton Sands, in the South Hams Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This area of coastline is a historic site where the Normandy landings were practiced, and is within easy reach of the towns of Kingsbridge and Salcombe. Slapton Sands is a 1.2 mile-long stretch of shingle beach, which is dog-friendly all year round. This area is fantastic for nature lovers, with Slapton Ley Nature Reserve adjacent to the beach.
