My Name is Chloe and I am your host whilst you are staying at the Black Sheep. I am a working farmer's wife, mum, cook, bottle washer, lamb and calf and piglet feeder, as well as being the organiser of our holiday stays. Life is never quiet for me, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Our location is very rural: there are a few shops in the local village, Whithorn. A great pub (The Railway) and a fish and chip shop, (the Central Café) but we do not have take away food delivery services or other "modern amenities". A taxi service may be available if Sunny is not already booked. However we boast Dark Skies, peace and tranquillity and the chance to learn about the workings of a modern farm. Within a few miles drive or bike ride, you will experience stunning coastlines, beaches, deep forests, waterfalls and ancient standing stones and prehistoric encampments. Known as the birthplace of Christianity in Scotland, this undiscovered area has so much to offer.
