The Burds Nest is a perfectly located shepherds hut just 5 miles from the town of Taunton in Somerset, perfect for a romantic getaway and easily accessed from the M5 and A303. Sleeping 2 adults and 1 dog The Burds Nest houses a comfortable double bed with views of the countryside. A clever dining area and will equipped kitchen comprising of fridge, hob, toaster and kettle. A good sized bathroom with shower is also within the shepherds hut. Outside comprises of seating areas and hot tub all completely for your own use and away from the main house. All essentials such as bedding, towels and bathrobes are included along with ample parking. This is a complete escape from busy everyday lives so whilst you will have access to WiFi there is currently no TV. Surrounded by incredible country pubs, local walks and a short drive to the coast whatever you are looking for is within easy reach. Local places of interest include- Lyme Regis. Tiverton Canal. Hestercombe House. Taunton Museum. Stoke Wood Alpacas. Trull Waterfall. Vivary Park. Sheppys Cider Farm. A car is essential due to the location however the local pub is only a 15 min walk. 1 dog is very much welcomed and a goody bag will be provided however we do have animals which will need to be considered. Smoking is permitted in the outside areas only. Unfortunately due to the space it is not suitable for children or babies.
