The Castle Lodge is family run and we take pride in offering great accommodation at affordable prices. We work tirelessly to make sure all our guests are cared for to ensure they have a great stay with us and enjoy their time visiting the area.

Property info

The Castle Lodge dates back to 1803 and is located in Tredegar town which is situated on the edge of the Brecon Beacons and the National Park. The old industrial town of Tredegar is excellently situated for access to waterfalls, forests, market towns and the highest peak in southern Britain. The apartments are also just a 10 min drive from BikePark Wales which is one of the biggest purpose built mountain biking trail centres in the UK. The Castle Lodge offers affordable modern self contained apartments catering for parties of up to 10 people in the same apartment on a self catering basis. All our apartments have their own private entrance with hallway, 1 to 4 bedrooms in various layouts, living room with flat screen tv and large corner sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen with dining area and bathroom/wc, central heating (underfloor heating in selected apartments). There is also offroad secure car parking and purpose built individual secure bike storage facilities.

Neighborhood info

The Castle Lodge is located in the old industrial town of Tredegar and is excellently situated for access to the Brecon Beacons and the National Park which lies on the border between Mid Wales and South Wales. The lodge also enjoys excellent road links to the M4 motorway, Cardiff, Swansea and Newport. It’s home to waterfalls, forests, market towns and the highest peak in southern Britain.
